To strengthen dormitory property management, starting from the 2025 academic year, the Dormitory Deposit policy will be implemented:

1. A dormitory deposit is collected each academic year. If there are no issues at check-out, or if the student continues to reside in the dormitory, the deposit will be refunded in batches in the end of the year.
2. The dormitory deposit (NT$1,000 per academic year) will be collected with the dormitory fee for the first semester.
3. The dormitory fee could be found in the tuition payment.
4. Students who have dorm fee waiver are still required to pay the NT$1,000 dormitory deposit.
5. Refund instructions:

• Refunds will only be made to Chunghwa Post account. If you do not have one, please apply for it as soon as possible.
• Upon moving in, students must check the dormitory property inventory themselves. If any abnormalities or damages are found, they should be reported promptly so that the relevant units can arrange repairs. When checking out or changing rooms, the dormitory property will be inspected again. If no loss or damage is confirmed, the full deposit will be refunded upon check-out.
• Late move-out; administrative fee of NT$500/day will be deducted from deposit in accordance with the regulation.
• NT$200 will be deducted if the key is not returned upon check-out. 

6.The deposit refund of 114 Academic year will commence in late September or early October. The refund is expected to be completed by November.
